Even the first one isn't the real one-the Roman Catholic Church made sure some of the books of the original are hidden forever or destroyed.

Hey Dude, There is the original Greek (new testament)
and original Hebrew writings (old testament)

The American standard version was translated to English in 1901 and is the closest to the original Greek and Hebrew text.

A missionary friend of mine lives in Latvia and reads Greek and Hebrew. he also has translated the new testament into the Latvian language. Up until then they had no bible in their language.

The other versions are either paraphrases or versions that have emphases or taken out part of the original text.

the bottom line is when you read the bible, no matter what version you read, if you are truly seeking truth and knowledge of God, It will make sense to you and not just foolishness.

I checked the site listed. I don't follow what you mean by versions.
If you mean who includes/excludes which book and why, I think it's a matter of the criteria used to determine the inspiration of the individual work.

If you mean the many versions around today, I think it's a corrupt business- the publishers and compilers I think are in it to make money. Some might do it truly to help people understand better by putting it into a lower grade level of English, but the whole of materialism has crept into things, so I wonder.
I know that if you dig enough, you WILL know what to believe.
It becomes apparent.

The Qu'ran in its Arabic original form is the Word of God as transmitted via the Archangel Gabriel to the last and final messenger for all mankind the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.

Even English translations can no longer be called the word of God, rather iinterpretations of the Qu'ran in English

many languages and many ways to understand it....old english is more difficult for me than the revised standard version.....english has changed..
