we are in high school and we are quite good friends :)
i asked him to join myself and my friends for lunch (my best male friend is quite jealous and not always friendly) but i told this guy that he is always welcome and i would be happy if he came...
however he never came...
is my best male friend intimidating or he just doesn't like me as more than a friend?

it's probably your best guy friend, but i don't think you should blow off your best guy friend for this other guy. do you think your guy friends kinda cute? ;) there might just be something waiting to spark up

What you said, could be true, and he just may have had other plans that day.
If you can, ask him to lunch again, some day, without your jealous friend there.

Make a date for just you two, it'll be more personal and less intimiadting for him. It will give you two one on one action and time to connect.
