Add 8" to the total length you want the curtains to be. Fold 4" up with a little edge turned under for the bottom hem. Do the same for the top but sew an additional line of stitching 1" to 2" from the top edge. That gives you a casing to run your curtain rod through. Now hang old tea cups and saucers for the kitchen or other stuff that relates to what ever room like sea shells. Attach these things with ribbon and use paper clips that you can punch right through the fabric and hang over the rod with out crushing the fruffel at the top.

Use iron tape instead of sewing it works alot better :-) measure the windows, figure the material needed, Pick out your fabric, and fold the edges over with the tape in between iron, do the same for the top leaving enough loop for a rod to go through. You also don't have to sew alot of decorators for model homes actually staple.

The best way is to go buy twin extra long sheets and punch holes in the fabric:) then add curtain rings! It will come out funky and very contemporary looking.

The easiest way is to purchase some pretty or funky designed bed sheets. You can cut them to size or leave them long and glue trim to them and just hang them with clips. Very little sewing involved and they look great. I did that in my dining room. I stenciled designs on with fabric paint, added beaded trim and turned the top down and make a self valance. Easy, easy, easy!!

just put a simple hem at the top & bottom of each panel. Then get some of those metal rings with the clips that you clip to the panels. That way you don't have to make tabs & they slid much easier.
