By this I mean - do you think that people in religions outside your own (or who practice no religion at all) can be good, happy, moral and spiritual?

I am going to assume that you realy want an answer so here it is.

I will break the answer down in to sub-parts, by the way I am a christian, imparticular a reformist (also known as a clavinist) if you should wish to learn more about what I belive.

good can be a relitive term, on one hand it can mean the amount of skill that a person has at a particular vocation 'he is a good basketball player' however in this instance we are talking about life so it is a little different. the bible says that no one is good none chase after the things of God(Romans 3 I think but I could be wrong) which includes us christinas. this is basicly saying to be good you have to be able to do everything right the first time with no help, we all fail that one big time. even us christians. but I am pretty sure this is not what you ment by good so the short aanswer is that yes people can do good things (donate money to hhelp out the poor) but you must ask your self why they did it, aanswer becaus it made them feel better, so if you do somthing
good for personal gratifacation is it realy good.

the answer to moral is alot the same, christians don't do it perfictly which is the standerd, but is it realy moral to do something when the only reason you are doing it is for your own feelings and looks?

and spiritual yes every one can and I think is spiritual even athiest who claim not to belive in god ( even though they realy set themself up as god) but spirituality never did anyone any good ever. infact it has caused a lot of harm in history, because it gives people somthing to hide behind wile commiting atrocities.
if christians are being spiritual they are not following God, he wants life changing not just a fad that sounds good.

as for happy yes I think anyone can be happy, because happy is dependent on the situation and people find themself in good situations at leasted onece in life. but joy is somthing else and is independent of situation and that my friend only comes from my God the creator of heven and earth.

All the stock in goodness, spirituality, morality and happiness isn't in a religion or a group of people.. It's in the Lord God. He gives it to us as we hold Him up in faith.. Mankind has developed a type of morality that fits this world just fine. It is flawed in comparison with what God has for us. But you can follow man's teaching and be a good person. Just not a child of God... Jim

Yes outsiders can be as good and/or moral as anyone else. Being good and moral does not necessarily equate to serving God. One must display these qualities to consider being a servant. Simply having these qualities does not offer one direction on how to serve God.

A good or moral person (as people go) may decide there is no harm in building a statue of the goddess Hera on their patio. How would this affect their standing with God?

The Prophet Joseph Smith (1805–44) often expounded on this theme of the universality of God’s love and the related need to remain open to all available sources of divine light and knowledge. “One of the grand fundamental principles of ‘Mormonism,’ ” he said, “is to receive truth, let it come from whence it may.” The Prophet exhorted Church members to “gather all the good and true principles in the world and treasure them.”

Every truth found in every church in all the world we believe. But we also say this to all men—Come and take the added light and truth that God has restored in our day. The more truth we have, the greater is our joy here and now; the more truth we receive, the greater is our reward in eternity

"I am the way, the Truth and the life, no one can come to the Father except through Me" Jesus.
There is only one completely true faith, even the best of the rest are only pale imitations and some of them are positively harmful.
As Jesus Himself said, they cannot get you to Heaven.
Only the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross will get you there, so why waste your time following anything else?
Just repent and acknowledge Jesus as your Saviour, and you are saved, it is as simple as that.
