Original CD will work

The windows XP disk should work as long as it is a full install disk. If it is an upgrade then you will need to own a previous version to prove you own Windows. If you use a Windows Startup Disk it will only boot the floppy drive and will not recognize your boot disk (Normally C:)

If this Hard Drive has been formatted..then you do not need a boot-up disc...then you can just use the xp disc....but it is always good to have an boot-up disc just in case of a crash..

Just load the CD and go..

Make sure your BIOS is set to boot from CD before the hard drive.
