how old does a dog have to be before he get the urge to hump everything?

We just got a dog, he is a puppy although i don't know how old he is, he is not gonna get very big so i can't tell if he is full grown or not. But he is starting to hump my stuffed animals. So then how old do they have to be before they start doing that? or does it just happen whenever

Humping is rarely a sexual issue in dogs. It's a way for dogs to show dominance, so it can start at almost any age, and can continue for life (even after neutering).
