If a christian would put it like that of course it would not convert them. If they want to help them, then show them love anyways. Us christians are suppose to be the light of the world and show them Christ lives within our hearts. I agree if they do this that is not christ like. God loves everyone he created us all. But it is the sin that has corrupted ones mind to do foolish acts.

Honestly, speaking as a Christian, I don't know any Christians that actually believe that God hates anyone. In fact, if one does think that, they are not a true believer. I guess I take issue with people who think that one hateful person who claims to be a Christian speaks for all true Christians. We believe that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." God hates sin, not the sinner. Also, God changes peoples hearts, people don't "convert" them.

To further complicate matters, there are lots of Gay Christians. Metropolitan Community Church is a whole denomination of people who claim God loves them, and gave them their sexualities.

God does not hate anyone. So the Christian who says God hates... is really saying I hate...
So having established that, what is your question?
