It's a very good question. I have spent over 20 years researching into prevention of and natural cures for skin disorders, premature aging and rejuvenating treatments and I discovered by chance this simple, natural treatment that remarkably prevents and diminishes wrinkles and gets rid of circles, age spots, disclorations.etc. It's so simple that many are skeptical, but try it and see the results yourself. Firstly, many of us harm skin, bring about disorders, and skin aging by using soaps and cleaners and use of countless other products with harsh chemicals and constant washing. Much of tap water also harms (do your own GOOGLE search :"Soaps, shampoos harm skin" and "tap water harmful".) You will see that shampoos are particularly bad and of course they come in contact with facial skin. By just stopping using them, or using natural mild cleaners, the skin starts to heal and premature aging is halted. To return skin to total health, replenish with a revitalizing natural pure oil - vitamin E oil or coconut oil are good and massage entire face (and neck if needs it) preferably daily, quite strongly and firmly (that is the key to it working), particularly in wrinkled and lined areas - but be gentle where circles are(you simply take more time in sensitive areas)That will hasten a new, healthy, clear and tighter skin to emerge. Some skin clinics say only massage gently, but in 20 years I have found strong massage only beneficial. Perhaps initially the massage may cause some reactions - so stop or do less strongly then resume when you can - You have to find the pace that works for you. You will see results almost immediately, skin will clear up if you have any disorders and It will develop a healthy tone and lines and wrinkles will diminish - see results in about a week but better ones over a period of weeks. You will soon be getting comments that you have an amazingly blemish free skin, that you are looking healthier, years younger. AND expect to be constantly asked "What is your secret? Try it, you will be happy that you did.(see my Best Answers for similar questions)

There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

I have heard of arbonne but i dont know if its any good.
I personally have used the firming cream from Mary Kay and it does just that. IT firms the entire area around the eye, including lower and bottom part, and it lightens it also.. I have been using for 2 months and right now. i am living by those products...
If you are serious about getting rid of those wrinkles i would definately suggest trying the product!!

Rest. Drink lots of WATER. Take care of your skin and protect it from the sun. Even if you think it's not that hot out..you need sunscreen on your face.
