No, believing on Jesus is the only way to heaven. Salvation is a free gift from God. You can't do enough good deeds to earn it.
Nothing but the blood of Jesus will wash away your sins and give you eternal life. Ask Jesus to come into your heart and accept Jesus as your Savior today.

No. Good deeds for the Christian are the result of being saved. A belief in Christ and the desire to follow his teachings is required. Whether or not something is a good deed is determined by scriptures.

No. If there were anything we could do to have eternal life, any "good deed", then Jesus would not have had to die as a sacrifice on the cross.
In the Garden of Gethsemane, He prayed that if it were possible, to let that cup pass from Him. Obviously, He had to drink it.
A poetic way of speaking of the torture and shame of the cross.

Good question, but the answer is no. No one will make it through the pearly gates on deeds alone. If that were the case, all do-gooders would make it in without having to accept Christ, and without having to live the life he outlined before us. It's not by what you do, but by what's in your heart.

You're not saved by doing good deeds. The only way to Heaven is to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. You are saved by God's grace.

Trying to get right with God by good works is like trying to swim from California to Hawaii. Some will swim further than others but "ALL" will not make it. That is why Jesus died for us because we need to be given right standing with God. It can never be earned. Romans 3:23 "All" have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Indeed it is, and God does like when you do good deeds, but that will NOT get you to heaven.

Want to go to heaven? Here's what needs to happen:

1. Believe and confess that Jesus is your savior.
2. admit you do wrong. By praying it to God.
3. Ask Him to help you believe in Him with all your heart.

God does like good deeds. But it's not your ticket to heaven, you know.

My guess is most Christians are going to tell you no. You have to be saved by Jesus or your good deeds just don't matter. That's a really sad perspective, IMO. It downplays the numerous good works and humanitarian efforts of non-Christians.

We are known by our works, but saved by His grace.

Christians believe that all men shall stand before the judgment bar to be judged by God, so all men must receive resurrection for that. But to enter into the Kingdom of God, we must have first entered in by the straight and narrow gate of baptism, accepting Christ as our personal savior and acknowledging His infinite sacrifice in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the cross for us.
