There is two ways of looking at approaching this... firstly you have to think about what would happen if you told her, would this ruin the friendship you already have and then you end up without her completely? or she could turn round and say she feels the same? Surely though if she felt the same she wouldnt have started dating this other guy? You either tell her or you dont. I always have to follow my heart, even if the outcome may not be good, but then at least then i know i have tried. I personally would tell her, tell her when you are at that dinner, just say to her that you know she is seeing someone but you have to tell her how you feel because its tearing you apart. Depending on her reaction, you could either follow it through or if you see any negativity or if she doesnt feel the same you can always then say, well i have feelings for you but the freindship is more important to me and i just want you to know that i will always be here for you if you need anything, i hope all goes well with your new guy. Then when they finish, you'll be there to pick up the pieces!!! Good Luck!

If she's just dating another guy, then she's not married. Unless you know of some exclusivity pact they have together you aren't breaking any rules by asking her out. Tell her how you feel. . . be honest and up front.
The same thing happened with me and my wife (only in reverse)- she told me she already had enough guy friends and that if I wasn't interested in dating, she wasn't interested at all. That got my attention!

just be her friend and make it so and be there for her in love and support. it seems you both relate to each other quite well. undderstand eaxch other and be a sister to her and take her down a different path and who knows what may develop in 12 months it could go down many paths. be positive and be good to her it could develop into a stong realtaionship. in a few months time you might have to revaluate in where you are going and perahaps go down another path . be strong and be a good leader

If she is dating someone don't tell her you like her. It could mess up her relationship and that would be wrong. You have to let the chips fall as they will. She obviously likes this new guy or she wouldn't be going out with him, she might like you too, but he got to her first. Don't interfere, that is wrong.

Ok you have two options....
A: You can fight for her, and let her know you like her before she gets too involved with this new guy...
B: You can keep your feelings to yourself, and suffer when you see them together, and you know thats shes thinking of him and not you...
Its that simple...
Good Luck :)

You don't. She's dating someone. If they break up, you can take your chance. Right now, you stay friends.

Tell her your true feelings, if you don't, you'll regret it for the rest of your life. Tell her that you want her to be happy and that you love her and would love to be with her and be the one to make her happy.
