Just a guess based on your almost incomprehensible question, but yo may have failed the Windows Genuine Advantage test. If your pc is second hand, the seller probably kept and reused the license key. If that is the case, you cannot download any updates to Windows from Microsoft.

Works disks are so common you could favor to locate them at any flea marketplace. For variations 4.0 and earlier use all "a million"s for the product key. For later variations pass to Brian Carr's internet web site. finally i'd accept as true with others get Open workplace.

Since your computer is second hand the serial number to your operating System belongs to someone else. You need to buy yourself a new Serial Number. This will get rid of the message of Authenticity. This is something from Microsoft that deters peolpe from using someone elses serial number.

Simply go to the Microsoft Website. It will check for all available updates, and if it suggests one, then you should be safe to download it.
