First and foremost I am extremely sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is one of the hardest things for anyone to have to go through.
To answer your question, yes. The other dog will definitely know that the older one has passed. Dogs are constantly sensing your energy and I'm sure he knows that you're feeling sad among other things. The good thing about it is that this is a very natural process for dogs and will grieve and move on much quicker than humans do. Remember that dogs live in the moment, unlike people, and although your dog knows that something is wrong they will get through this much easier than you would.
Again, I'm very sorry for your loss.

Dogs do remember. And Im sure your dog is no different. He knows something is up, same as if you were leaving on vacation and he starts to act funny. You will probably notice him looking around trying to find his buddy. In all honesty that maybe the hardest part of the whole ordeal, watching him do this. Dogs dream just like anyone else and they have that keen sense. So, it very well could be that he was dreaming of the other dog.
So, the answer is yes, he will remember and he knows that something isn't right.
Like a human, he will heal in time.
Im sorry to hear about your loss...its one of the worst things to go through.

Yes. I have seen this happen many times with my own dogs. Just like people , they will grieve for a while then will slowly get over it. You will need to give it a lot of TLC the next few weeks. Eventually, you might consider getting another dog to keep it company. Dogs are pack animals and crave the company of others. I am so sorry for your loss.

If she's a first time mommy, her maternal instincts probable havent kicked in yet. Being deaf doesnt help a lot both because the yelping doggies cant be heard. I dont know yet in the course of the birthing of doggies, you would possibly want to oversee the mummy. If the puppy died via asphyxiation from being contained in the sack too lengthy, then it truly is comprehensible yet typically in the course of the birthing, if a puppy dies, you would possibly want to take it to the vets' to have it autopsied. it truly is only a precaution to entice close what happend and if the different domestic dogs might want to be sick. because your canines is deaf, I advise you keep the doggies in a separate basket or something because the mummy canines doesnt listen them so even if she sits on them or something, she wont listen them yelping. you would possibly want to encourage nursing consisting of your SUPERVISION. you position the puppy to feed at the same time as you watch so as that none of them get squished. for sure, there are continually droppers you should use to feed the domestic dogs yet then it truly is maximum suitable to get their mom to do it because the mummy's milk has food to assist with the doggies' resistance to ailment/ailment.

The behaviour of the dog u have at home is absolutely normal. You can bring the new dog to have the company. Otherwise everything will be normalized soon. Bring new toys for your dog to make him happy.

I believe so. When one of my dogs stayed at the vet overnight (she was spayed) the others looked for her. I swear it.
