Jesus Christ is part of the Godhead, yet He is God's Son.
Why don't you believe in God?
The fact that you are God conscious indicates that you have at least thought about whether or not He exists.
Go outside, look at the sky, the earth, and all of creation around you. Breathe in the air - think about your humanity! You are unique - there is no one else exactly the same as you! Think about everything you are - you have identity. You have presenc eof mind.
Think about time and space - you live right now. Can you accept that random or design created for a purpose by a God who loves you, or by static elements that gives no purpose, no hope, nothing to why you are unique.
Your personality is dual. It is encoded in yor genetic structure before you were born and it is something you experience.
You are the evidence that there is a God. Your body is a mechanical feat of engineering that even modern science cannot make. You have distinctiveness. When you have gone there will never be anyone like you ever again.
Was this by complete randomness or were you created by God for purpose to prove that He exists and that you exist for Him?

Good question, definitely makes you think.
You say that you "like" the teachings of Christ, and yet you do not believe in him. Personally, I think saying Christian Athiest is a condradiction.
I would say you are athiest, not a Christian because Christians believe in God. But just because you do not believe in God or the supernatural, doesn't mean that you cannot follow the "teachings" per say.
Hopefully that makes sense!
Good question though!

Absolutely. You can value the teachings, or the community, or any of the thousand other aspects of a religion besides a belief in anything 'divine.' For some, it makes a lot of sense.
Jesus' teachings are far from unique though. Perhaps another religion would be a better fit for you. Is there a Unitarian-Universalist or Quaker meeting in your area?
Whatever you do, don't tell the Christians. Not all of them will be able to cope.

Christians believe in Christ. Do you believe he existed?
Atheists have no God.
If the answer to the 1st question is yes, and you ARE a true atheist, you can be a Christian Atheist. Now, take a cookie and go to your room.

You can "be" anything you want
that's what is meant by the "free will" thing that was given to man by God (sorry)----So--- you're as free to screw up big time as anyone else-- but you'll need to brace yourself for the FACT that Christ was actually thoroughly and totally centered around God !! So, you have some splannin' to do Lucy !!
And, here we see posted all the time How Brilliant Atheists consider themselves to be---- Sad, very sad indeed !!! To be rejected by TWO philosophies at the same time--- a very lonely future here !!

Thomas Jefferson was very nearly that.
"I am a real Christian, that is to say, a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus." ~ Thomas Jefferson, letter to Benjamin Rush, April 21, 1803
"The day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus, by the Supreme Being as his father, in the womb of a virgin, will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerva in the brain of Jupiter." ~ ibid, letter to John Adams, April 11, 1823
"Among the sayings and discourses imputed to him [Jesus] by his biographers, I find many passages of fine imagination, correct morality, and of the most lovely benevolence; and others again of so much ignorance, so much absurdity, so much untruth, charlatanism, and imposture, as to pronounce it impossible that such contradictions should have proceeded from the same being." ~ ibid, letter to William Short, April 13, 1820

Being a Christian means believing that CHRIST died on the cross for your sins, and rose again. It doesn't mean you think Jesus was a nice guy and you want to me a nice guy too. If you do not believe in God you are not a Christian!

To be an "atheist Christian", you'd have to first stop believing in God or Jesus - the two terms are too contrary to make any sense (unless you think Jesus existed and that he was a good man you should follow the example of, but that he wasn't god).
Why would you ask such a silly question?

Yes, theyre more specifically called "hypocrites."
Jesus cannot possibly be good if he lied his head off about how to get to Heaven and faith in God. Jesus' moral teachings were just a sidebar. He taught that the most important thing was doing Gods will and he died doing it so you need to make up your mind whether he was a LORD, lunatic, or liar?

Of course you can. I also don't believe in a God, therefore I'm an atheist. But just like you, I value most messages of Jesus in the Bible. I don't believe he was the son of a god, but I do treasure the things He said.
Sadly enough, many 'true Christians' almost on a daily basis need to be reminded of what Jesus said.
