but what i'm really curious about is if the body will get cancer automatically, as they age, without exposure to any carcinogens.

as i see it right now, since mutations happen all the time anyway, doesn't this mean that cancer is an inevitable condition, provided that you last through any other conditions that you face as you age?

In summary, yes.

How do you avoid all forms of radiation including sunlight?

It is nearly impossible to avoid natural and artifical carcinogens in our food supply and water.

It is impossible to totally avoid all exposure to viruses.

Plus, some genetic mutations may be inherited giving the receiving offspring a head start toward cancer.

I just cannot see how anyone can totally avoid all these things. Limit them but, not totally avoid them. It's part of life.

yes..because sometimes ...a pre cancer is in your body...and it hasnt become full cancer yet..its just "hibernating". And your body can get it automatically without any exposure to carcinogens because some are born with cancer...or precancers...Sometimes people dont know their child has cancer and some know...But even if you dont know....doesnt mean that your child will die from it...sometimes their bodies can take care of the cancers on their own...But, as far as automatically getting cancer, its possible and happens all the time...How is it that a family with a history of cancer all of a sudden get cancer all at about the same ages? Cancer is an inevitable condition..and it might even be safe to say that ...nearly everybody in their life time will have some sort of cancer...It might even be nearly 100% true...Its just that some of them are soo small that they are undetected....Its basically a time bomb that goes off...Once those cells mutate, then they start to multiply...then you have to kill each and every single one of them to stop the cancer...and they mulitply extremely fast sometimes....so...its extremely difficult to fix sometimes...and the slower moving ones are the ones that are most resistant....

Age has nothing to do with getting any disease.

The only inevitable thing in life is nobody gets out of life alive.

You can get cancer by age because of the reason that your body's ability to repair miscreated cells slowly wears out so it is possible to get cancer by age.

two of my great grandmothers, one of my great grandfathers, two grandfathers, died from cancer. my father is a cancer survivor. my mother defeated cancer twice. i believe most health conditions are inherited. my grandparents lived long lives. i tell everyone i know cancer is going to kill me. dr's can run these scare tactics about cancer causing this and that, but i never hear dr's talking about cancer running in the family.
