It is a GE Vhs Camcorder from the early eighties. Too embarrassing to use in public. Cost a thousand dollars brand new and in perfect condition. I hate to throw it away. Any good ideas as to what to do with them now ? Send it to Mexico or would that insult them too ?

Send it to Mexico? Try eBay instead. Even though it sounds crazy, it's even crazier that there are people out there that might be willing to offer a fairly high price for your camera. Or since I'm guessing you have a miniDV camera or something like that now, convert your camera into a bazooka or ray gun and use it as a prop in your low-budget film. Or give it to a school or something. If their equipment is really crappy, they'll think your camera is awesome, and might even give you some cash for it. Hope this helps!
