There are many organisations spread around the UK which specifically deal with the re-homing needs of particular pedigree breeds of dog. The secretary of the National Yorkshire Terrier Rescue is Mrs M Cooper who can be contacted on 0121 453 3468, who we hope is able to assist you.

Advertise and make a short list - but check everyone you are interested in thoroughly. You need to do this :
1. to make sure they get the best home and
2. for your own peace of mind, that you did the best you could for them!

Never give them away - they are nice dogs who deserve people who can afford them , so charge a good price. If you hand them over to a rescue place you'll be left wondering whatever happened to them! Get them neutered, so puppy farms cannot use them and make sure their vaccinations are up to date (you can get the price of this back) and don't be afraid to nose around prospective buyers places and ask loads of questions -they should not mind!
and don't forget to ask if you can visit in the future, once they have settled in.(after a month or so)
good luck!

The breeders of your dogs should be the first people to contact - if they are reputable, they will arrange to take them back or rehome them. Otherwise contact a breed rescue - they are far more knowledgeable about finding them suitable homes

Are you particular there are not to any extent further shelters on your county? nicely if it extremely is the case it would be extremely astounding of you to place some classified ads up, in line with danger bypass to 3 vets and puppy shops? then in basic terms ask to place a poster up on a word board or someplace like that the place any puppy seekers will see it. Then if somebody gets in touch with you approximately this, interview them till now you enable them to take the canines and be particular to do here: - bypass to their abode, you have the desire to make particular it extremely is a secure actually a canines friendly enviroment. - Meet definitely anybody interior the enjoyed ones. And get the canines too besides, you have the desire to make particular all of them get alongside and a minimum of one man or woman can consistently be at abode with that canines (eg, isn't left abode on my own for hours because of fact of human beings working all day) - in the event that they produce different pets, confirm they get alongside with one yet another your self. confirm they're intorduced in front of you. - maximum improtantly, attempt to make particular they're going to do issues like microchip him and can supply uncomplicated and scientific care at any given time for the canines. - in case you may, warn them you will do a suprise bypass to a collectively as whilst they have taken the canines abode. just to se how they're doing. Shelters in many circumstances try this after extremely some months. Shelters try this, confirm you do too. it extremely is improtant the owner is got here upon responseable. solid success, and thank you for assisting the canines :)

so sorry to learn that your dogs need rehoming, but try getting in touch with the kennel club and Yorkie breeders (look on the internet) as they probably have their own Yorkie rescue, and would probably know someone who is looking to rehome Yorkies, so they will go to someone who knows the breed - good luck
