If elected Obama says that he would start withdrawing troops in march of next year, so that they may be redeployed to the northern provinces, and to protect the borders, unless the Iraqi government takes over and shows sincere determination to run its own country and keep it secure, or the military Generals determine it would be unsafe to do so. I think it is the better plan out of three candidates for democratic nominations, Edwards just wants to withdraw 20,000 to 40,000 troops and hiliary's policy is still unclear. Obama also voted against legislation to cut funding to troops, showing that he is a democrat not for the policy of cutting and running. Do you think this is a good plan regarding the war in Iraq?

Yes, i think his plan is a good idea. We shouldn't just abandon this war but, we can't stay there forever either. We must elect someone who can create a plan to get us out sometime soon and let Iraq be safe and be able to take care of theirselves.

Terrible plan. If people think Iraq is bad now, then just wait till Obama is president. The only chance of regaining peace there is to have the U.S. win the war. We need a very powerful surge and soon. Bush needs to stop worrying about his approval rating, grow some balls and take a firm grasp of that country. It's the only way to get them to stop killing each other. It is not alright to let houndreds of thousands of Iraqis die in order to save a couple hundred Americans.

all of us working for President says that they might pull out troops if elected is in basic terms making off the wall statements. component of actuality, Nixion mentioned the comparable component, in his 2d term he had to easily provide up the conflict and run, and costing a pair hundreds lives interior the approach of human beings interior the approach, not to indicate the lack of ability of existence of the Nam human beings. the comparable component may well be in Iraq, not to indicate it shows something of the international that in case you hit some human beings the united stateswill run. we can't stand that rep, and then the conflict will come to the U.S. as in 9/11.

I think the plan stinks because it has a timetable. Other than the timetable the plan is no different than what we are doing now.

So Obama wants to lose the war.

Another worthless plan from somebody who has never been there. I guess that it would sound good to people who have never been there also.
