he went away 2 work in north wales for a month and didnt hear from him for a month and then the other week he calls me saying that he really missed me and i am so sorry that i havent been in touch with you have been so busy love you loads is it alright if we meet up tomorrow and i said i cant tomorrow i promise my mate that i would go out with her since its her b'day and then he said ok darling maybe we can do sumthing at the weekend keep in touch but he has'nt been in touch all week

tell him you have met someone else.who makes you very happy and you tell HIM he is dumped. You don't want a snake like that say to yourself I can do a lot better believe in yourself and you will.

to not contact you for a whole month says an awful lot about the way he feels about you! clearly, he sees your relationship as being very casual to say the least.
that said, did you try to contact him the whole time he was away?

then call him.....you both have phones...did you contact him while he was away? if not, then why are you whining about him not contacting you, relationships work both ways, not just on his side if you think he's taking the mick...dump him and find someone reliable
