I have 3 Jeeps. A 93 cherokee that is already being sold. I also have a 72 cj5 and an 84 cj7. I like the older one better but the 84 is built up a little and well we have some great memories in it. I can get more money for the 84 and build the 72 the way I want it or I can sell the 72 and keep working on the cj7. Or do I sell them both and get something newer? My other option is to keep them both and take longer to fix up the 72 while still maintaning the 84 (that gets expensive). I know it sounds silly but as with any hobby I have a lot of time and money in all 3. I have only now come to grips with letting the xj go only after about a year of the wifes hints.

A person can get 'too many irons in the fire",what I would do is make a list of what each one would need to be the way you want it,and do a cost and time comparison to see which one would get done first.Unless you like the" working on them part",the one with the least amount of money, time would definitly be the way to go. You could sell one to finance the other one,the only other advice I can give you is to balance your time that you spend with your projects with your wife/kids or maybe get them involved in your project to be able to spend time with them.

When I got to three Jeeps the wife did the same thing, so I sold her Wrangler and bought her a Mercedes Roadster. After two years she is hinting she would like another Jeep YJ. My suggestion is to keep them all if you can afford it. I sold my Cherokee and Liberty to get into a Ford Superduty 4x4 and now have discovered the limitations of the big rig off road. I should have kept the Cherokee and the Wrangler and sold the Liberty.

Memories can't be replaced by money. I say keep them. Too many times we sacrifice something and then feel sorry later.
