good job thinking outside the box. everyone else seemed to be hung up with the half a chicken thing. here's the answer:
a chicken and a half = 1.5
in a day in a half = 1.5
can lay an egg an a half= 1.5
(don't add it cause there one in the same)
so 1.5 X 6 days = 9

I would go with the answerers who said 2. Really, you need to be thinking of a whole chicken and not a half, unless it's been cut up and frozen to cook later. One chicken lays one egg per day. Halfway through the day, the egg is half-formed, so there is the half egg. So in six days the hen will lay 6 eggs, which is half a dozen. To get the full dozen, you need 2 hens. 2 x 6 =12.

You forgot some needed information, like what percentage products at a time, and what percentage circumstances in the course of the river. My answer to you'd be the fox and the fowl feed, then the fowl because you probably did not specify, yet i'm positive that could no longer th proper answer to the definitely comic tale.
