we are both in high school and he is an exchange student,,,
we got pretty close over the weeks that i knew him,,,
however i learned that the place that he is staying at has rules of "no dating"....
He likes to flirt... but knowing this information should i even try to pursue something more than a friendship?

unless you can come up with a better excuse not to date him then i say go for it! have fun with it just not at his place.good luck!

Eventually he will not be an exchange student anymore and then you won't have to worry about the rule, and a rule like that is kind of difficult to enforce anyway.

If you both want to jeopardize his living arrangement then date. If not... respect the 'no dating' rule and hang out during daytime hours.

Think about what he wants and try to make a friendshipo work if you feel more for him then pursue him.

i would not start things because he prolly wont excpt it because he grew up in a culture where that is against the rules and your friendship will be ruined
