Because it comes from an orange, which is a yellowish orange.

If the orange juice has been pasteurised its more yellow that orange. However I'm sure some orange juice looks more orange than it should.

It's to do with the Vitamin C in it. Ever noticed that the vegetables with the most Vitamin C are brightly coloured?
Orange?
Carrot?

Also ever noticed citrus tend to be bright colours, it's something to do with that - not totall 100% sure though - Sorry, but at least if it's a school thing, Vitamin C might be a start for the question etc.

well first off orange juice is orange. and second off, the orange is orange so the juice must be orange too.

Because it absorbs light of all the wavelenghts except orange light, which is reflected from it's particles. Hence we see it as orange!

probabaly because of all teh things they put in it to make it fresh and make it last longer
