I use a Crate 65 Watt amp. The cone rattles when I palm mute if its past a certain volume and the distortion is turned up high. How can I prevent this?

It depends on a couple of factors, but if it happens no matter what guitar you are using you may have a small tear in your cone and you can only hear its effect when you palm mute

The speaker in a combo will not necessarily handle the full power of the amp. Further, you may be playing with too much bass. Back the EQ off a bit, consider going with a little less volume. If that doesn't help, your speaker may be damaged -- tear in the cone, etc.
