1. I am a Catholic. As such I am a Trinitarian Christian.

2. No.

3. There will always be people who are more (or less) intelligent than myself. I am a straight-A honors student in college, but that just means that I sit for tests well. So the answer is conditional, depending upon whose intelligence my own is being compared to.

4. I really like to think that I'm not, but I may very well be, on some level. Cultural conditioning can do that to anybody.

5. I've given the occasional snide reply to someone who was opening mocking my faith, but nothing too harsh. I usually just shrug such comments off and move to the next question.

6. No.

1.. In the simplest terms possible, what do you believe?

I am a soft polytheist (Pagan) so I believe in many gods that are part of the whole. My view of God is very untraditional.

2. Do you consider yourself to be more moral than the average person?

No. Probably about the same as the average person.

3. Do you consider yourself to be more intelligent than the average person?

Maybe better read than the average person. But not more intelligent.

4. Are you ever racist, sexist, ageist, and otherwise prejudiced, even unintentionally?

Yes. I think we all lose perspective in our anger or frustration now and again.

5. Is it fair to mock or give an angry reply to someone on this board if they insult your beliefs or otherwise bother you?

It's probably not fair, but I must admit I've been guilty of it. I try to be mindful of how a question makes me feel and try to rise above those feelings. But sometimes it's not easy because the person provokes it and brings insults and mocking on themselves.

6. Are you superior in any way to people who believe something other than what you personally deem the undeniable truth?

No. My truth is my truth. Who am I to validate or invalidate someone else's impersonal truth?

This is kind of how I see it. If all of us were to take off our clothes and stand in a line, we'd be a bunch of naked people standing in a line and nothing more. No better or no worse than the person standing next to us.

1. I am an atheist and a pagan. I do not believe in god, but I follow the pagan path of honoring nature and the turning of the year. I regard the pagan god/desses as symbolic.

2. I do not consider myself more moral than average.

3. Going strictly by I.Q., I am statistically far more intelligent than average. However, I.Q. alone does not tell the entire story. I believe I am a bit more intelligent than average. I wish I were better educated, though. My journey isn't over.

4. I am at times prejudiced against certain people. I am not racist nor sexist -- I do not hold against people things that they have no choice over. I only fault people for stupid choices.

5. I think it is absolutely fair to give an angry reply to a someone who has deliberately insulted you. I treat people with respect as long as they show me the same consideration. If they choose not to, the gloves are off.

6. My beliefs do not make me superior. No person's *beliefs* make them superior. It is their actions by which they should be judged. I would think more highly of a theist who built houses for the poor than an atheist who does nothing to help his/her fellow man and vice versa.

1. I believe I'll have another beer.... but seriously, I believe that diversity of opinions and beliefs are natural, and there is no way we can ever agree on subjective matters - nor should we. All of our theories are valid. It is more important to keep seeking questions than remaining stuck with a particular set of answers.
2. yes.
3. yes.
4. I hope not, and try not to be. But possibly, in small ways.
5. mock? yes. angry? less so. humor is sometimes the only response to some questions, and a humor keeps me sometimes from giving an angry one. Ideally, we would all give positive responses, but we're all human, and sometimes the trolls get our goats. I'm, satisfied if we all try to act our best, and I'll forgive the occassional breach.
6. not as such. but I do find people who respect multiple points of view over those who don't... not so much an issue of "superior" or not.
