Okay, my friend has had two streaks of orangey-red in the front of her hair for a while now, but she's ready to be natural again. Is there any way she could get the orange parts dyed brunette again (and not have it look like a different color)? That way she can grow it out without having the weird dark roots.

It had to be bleached first, so she can't just get the color stripped, and it's permanent color. Any suggestions?

She wants to know: If she just dyes the front, will it be hard to get it the same color as the rest of it? (She doesn't want to damage the rest of her hair...)

she should be able to tint back with relative ease. the use of a filler is probably not needed in this case because there is still pigment left in the hair. a neutral brown should work ok

Because I did Hair for years, you are talking Corrective color now.
If you really want to do color right you must use a filler now.Brown,it stains the hair discolored, then put desired color over that.Once you do this don't go to a different color .Leave alone
for 6 months. You Can ruin your hair very easy if you keep putting chemical on top of chemical.Good Luck. You need a Beauty Supply Store for more information. You lighten your hair to orange cuz your product wasn't strong enough, or you took it off too soon. You are probably a dark headed girl. right. You must bleach to get to blond or natural lighter color.
