Jesus was what??? What the heck is a mesanger?
He didn't say he as a mesanger that I know. He only claimed to be the Son of God.

Mesanger are sent by others...However - Jesus made a choice to do what he did...to take away the sins of the world

Jesus was a messenger, and so much more.
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." -John 14:6

He was a messenger because He brought the good news that we no longer needed to live by the old law in the Old Testament. We no longer needed to make sacrifices to atone for our sins. He came as the atonement for our sins, the ultimate sacrifice that would free us from the bondage of the law.

Why? Because I believe his message as he presented it was lost, replaced by those who came later, who were looking to build their power base.
Jesus was most likely a revolutionary in his own time, not a prophet of distant-future events. His execution derailed the plan and so the story was re-written to fit the turn of events.

Because in the Bible he did many great things such as te power to heal, bless etc......
He also spoke of God and other things that effected the lives of many people who believed in him. Many people say he wasa messenger, a massiah, a healer, the son of God, the list could go on and on. But it is your choice to belive in what you believe.

Jesus was not a messenger. He was God. He is the second person in the trinity. He is God in human flesh. One person with both a human and divine nature joined perfectly.
