I know everyone has an accent, so...
I have an English project in which I have to interview someone and document how they pronounce words and where they have lived.

I'm English. I speak English.
Saying someone speaks English with an English accent just sounds silly to me.

I have an East Texas accent. Long and drawn out. I say words like over yonder and my grandson asked where "yonder" is. We say we are fixing to go somewhere. Of course, yah'll, you all.

people say i do, but i don't hear it. it would make sense though, since i've lived in three countries, although i've lived here for ten years now so my accent should be much the same as anybody else's.
