Does anyone else find they look better when they shoot pictures of themselves reflected off a mirror than they do when they just take a regular picture?

Sometimes... oddly... yes.
What bugs me though is the fact that so many people take a picture of themselves in front of the mirror... and you can see the effing camera!!!!!
Don't people know how to take a picture of themselves WITHOUT the camera in it??

My ex thought she looked better in mirrors. I told her she looked best in green. She wasn't too happy when I added "a hefty garbage bag".
