I was disappointed to see that Grabage Band 3 was designed only for use on Macs, as I'd heard many great things about it and it appeared very easy to use. I am looking for a music-making/sound-editing program that is easy to use, but not extremely limited that can be used on the Windows XP OS.

There are a couple that I reccomend, but I must tell you that they're not CHEAP or free (you get what you pay for y'know?)

The first one is fruity loops ====> http://www.fruityloops.com/

The 2nd one (and my PERSONAL favorite) is Reason ===>

If you're lucky you might be able to find these on BitTorrent or limewire, but if you ask me, they're both worth the money

I'll add a vote for Audacity. I have been using this for a few months and have dumped several commercial apps in favor of it. It's more than worth while and I have had NO problems with it.
