It very well could be gall stones or at least a partially blocked bile duct. The function of the gall bladder is to hold bile and then release it when you eat to help you to digest your food. When your body has a blockage or stones they are caused by calcium deposits and are very painful. I know, I ended up having mine removed. Please go to see a GI doctor with a written list of ALL of your symptoms, include the onset date as close as you can remember. Also take a list of the medications, vitamins and herbal supplements your take on a regular basis, as they may have interactions that you don't know about. If you do need to have your removed it can probably done as a laproscopic procedure. This means that it is done thru several small holes as compared the the great big one they used to do years ago. Also, the healing time is about three to five days. That's pretty quick. Good Luck. Let's us know what the MD says.

Well dear it could be a number of things, but your gall bladder and appendix are on the right side of your body. It could be your bowel, or ovary or kidney. So the best person to ask is your doctor. Good luck God bless and put angels on your pillows.

your gallbladder is on the left hand side but it is not uncommon to have referring pain else were. Iwould go to doc maybe ultrasound needed, have you recently had an infection or illness? the gallbladder is a small sausage like pouch and i think its there to break down fats ie cholesterol, you can be left with crystilized cholesterol small or large pebbles in the gallbladder which causes all your pain, I had keyhole surgery last oct and havent looked back good luck and god bless

I have n idea how old you are, but when a woman goes thru a hysterectomy and start hormones, it is most likely you will have your Gull Bladder removed.
The complications that a woman goes through is unreal when it comes to having your insides removed.

i suffered from this awhile back, i went to the doctor and he told me my intestines were swollen. i really have to watch what i eat, he reccommended that i eat less of the food that have to many spices or lots of greasy foods. he also gave me medicine for a couple of days, but what has really helped is that i'm cutting back on eating food that cause this which is great because that means i can never really weigh to much and maintain the same weight ( i'm skinny) so it really helps in staying healthy
