Anywhere in the world you donate blood they will test if for all things if it comes back as being a positive in anything they will inform you and the doctor you have on file but you could end up in serious trouble if you have a suspicion but go and give blood anyway. Have a complete blood work done by your doctor. They will always test for infectious diseases so it does not infect the patient who requires the blood work. Good luck

yes. you are always notified of your blood results if they are positive or negative. may god bless you are the person that donated blood. I just hope that who ever donated blood knew if they were positive or negative before they went and did it.

I beleive they do. However, it is most certainly NOT an ethical way to test your HIV status on the quiet.

I heard that they wasn't allowed to because you need to be counselled before finding out, they just dont use the blood, i am not definite though, sorry.

They should notify you by mail or phone call. The health dept. could come to your house. Call them.
