Why does my dog always have a little bit of poop on his bum?

He is an 80lb husky/shep/lab cross. He is white so it is very noticable.

Is it his food, or the way he poops or what?

I feed him the mid price range food.

His poops themselves look healthy and normal and it is like a tiny nugget not like diarreha.

My golden retrievers gets the same thing...it's nasty. We have to cut it out of her fur. We trim up her bum hair so that it doesnt get stuck so often.
