It depends on the fruits. Stick to low glycemic fruits like apples and grapefruits. Something like raisins will spike insulin levels in the body and you will be more likely to store energy as fat. Only time of day you want an insulin spike is after a tough workout to flood nutrients to the glycogen depleted muscles.
