I am having a serious problem with this problem. When the blue screen does come up it doesn't give me time to analyse the page to find the problem.
Also when windows starts up i get a windows file which comes up saying "we have encountered a major problem" and gives me two options if i want send report or don't send.
Any suggestions would do thank you.

Right Click on My Computer...go to properties....click on the advanced tab....then click on settings under the Startup and recovery....under the system failure section uncheck Automatically Restart....this will allow you to read the BSoD

No doubt you're using windows xxx...I've had it happen alot with win 98...There should be some long letters / numbers in the center of the screen. Write them down and then google them. The major problem issue is often a problem with Internet Explorer. Try going to microsofts web site and doing a update.

Is this windows NT? There is an option and I forget where it is, to reboot after a fatal error. It is in Control Panel Sysatem Properties -> Start Up and Recovery. This gives you time to read the error and check it out on the Internet.
