So what ?
The Russians supply their weapons all over the world just like the US does.
Most of Iraq's military equipment was Russian.
Every time you turn on the news you see them running around with AK's and RPG 7's,
so what's your question ?

Ok, no question, but if your asking about the political side of the situation, it's very tricky indeed. I am from Canada and have watched and studied the middle east for the last 4 or 5 years as a hobby, and here is what i think may be happening. The Afghan's fought Russia for years, and when Russia left they left behind much of their equiptment and weapons. That said, the Taliban then took over afghanistan and Al-Queda then moved in to help out and cash in on those weapons. Therefore if Al-Queda found them and is now in Iraq there would be good reason for Russian SAM's and RPG's to be found in Iraq too. There is no reason for Iranian stuff to be in Iraq except if they are suppliers and in which case there is a problem bigger the what the US armed forces is prepared to deal with right now.

Do you know that the Iranian Air Force have a large number of F-14 and F-16 fighter planes?. And that the spare parts for these planes are purchased by the Iranians from the black market, mostly from Israel?. How about those large quantities of weapons sold to the Iranians during the Iran-Contra deal by the U.S.?.
This only shows that when it comes to money, bitter enemies can be very good business partners.

Just to let you know Russia and the USA are the largest weapon suppliers in the world followed by China, France, and then others...we completely supported the taliban in the 80's with their fight with Russia giving them stinger missiles among other weapons...No there are no treaties forbidding one country doing weapon sales with others...In vietnam our aviators saw a lot of russian made sams and large AAA rounds shot at them. I don't know what type of missile system you are referencing about, but most likely my guess is the strella missile system http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SA-7_Grail similar to the stinger (handheld infra red tracking etc.), but not close to the quality and reliability.

each and every physique is conscious the suited tank on the marketplace is the Leopard 2 A6. The Israelis are incompetent and their military is designe to combat Egypt in a typical conflict. A dude pops out of a house at the back of the merkava with some semtex and the tank is carried out.
