The first thing you need to look at is the batteries in your camera. Are you using rechargeable batteries? If you are, then you need to make sure the batteries are fully charged...because these batteries will slowly drain when not used for any amount of time.

It's always a good idea to charge the batteries at least a day before or on the day you intend to use your camera.

DO NOT use ordinary (non rechargeable) alkaline batteries, which do not have enough charge to power the camera for long...you should only use rechargeable NiMH batteries or if you don't use rechargeable batteries, you should use Lithium batteries, which last a long time.

If you are using fully charged or new batteries and still have a problem with your camera, then it is under warranty and you should return it to where you purchased it from.

good luck.

It could be that you have a defective battery. Take it in to the store you bought it from and have one of the techs put a new battery in it. If starts working then you have identified your problem. Now, since you just bought your camera, you should still be convered under the waranty. Contact the manufacturer and they should take care of the rest.

you first try new batteries
if that doesn't work
if you bought it at a local store
take it to them and ask for help
then you will have to send it to the manufacture
the addresses are in the manual
also, there is a troubleshooting section in the back of the manual

Make sure it's not the batteries. If not batteries, then wouldn't it be under warranty? If under warranty, send it back for repair. Don't have repair address? Ask dealer where you bought it, for repair address. Dealer might even know what's wrong.

2 months, huh? It should still be under warranty. Dont try to manipulate it yourself as this will void it. Take it to where you purchased it. Or could you just possibly need new batteries?
