I used to have very very very white teeth. But over the summer, I went on a trip and didn't brush my teeth so often - a week can make a big difference.
So you can't just brush it away with toothpaste? I know you all are going to say "Crest Whitestrips", so are they a one time thing or do you have to use them again and again? Aren't they bad for your teeth?

Don't use any of those products. If you use more than one package you will harm your teeth.
This is going to sound crazy but it really works. Use baking soda. Before you brush your teeth with toothpaste, put a little baking soda on your brush and brush your teeth like you always do. Believe me it works. Its like an instant result. Two or three nights in a row should do the job. But don't do it too often.

One of the things I've been doing for better oral hygiene the last 6 months is using a diluted 3% h202 solution (a.k.a. hydrogen peroxide) rinse 3 times per week. There is different research on using it undiluted and how often but to be on the safe side I've been doing 1/2 water and 1/2 hydrogen peroxide as a mouthwash 3 times per week. Spit out the remainder after swishing but do not rinse with water when done but let it work on your teeth and nasties in your mouth and make sure to swish it around vigorously. It will foam up some but you can 'remove' (IOW spit
out) what you don't like.

After a few months I noticed my teeth getting whiter and each month they're getting better and better. The great thing about this solution it is not only healthy but extremely cheap. Just pick up the 3% solution when you're out and about.

No, the Crest Whitestrips are not a one-time thing. Your teeth will stain again and again due to several factors.... drinking coffee, drinking red wine, smoking, etc.

On the box, it states that you might have to use them every six months or so to maintain the results. As far as I know, it will not damage your teeth - as long as you follow the directions when you use them.

If you're concerned about the whitening strips try the mouth rinses. You can stop at any time, and they work like a dream.
