Get involved with a lot of activities. It might be hard at first but you should overcome your shyness. Confidence is VERY attractive. Join a club or become a leader in your school. Try talking to people you don't usually talk to. Then, when you find a girl who you like become her friend, then ask her out. You might get rejected, but if you dont try then you will never know if she would have said yes! And don't give up if you do get rejected, the next girl might say yes!
OH READ THIS
Just because you are dorky doesnt mean you wont get dates. A lot of gilrs like dorky guys, it adds charm
and make sure you have good hygeine!

Are you kidding me?! Dorky guys are the best!!! You guys know how to have fun and keep the mood light. I just say try to relax more. Forget about being shy just go up to the girl you like and ask her out. If she dosn't like the fact that you're dorky then she isn't the girl for you!!!

Be just the way you are, and just show up. Be ready for girls to ask you out. Some girls like that. Wear decent clothes, and be clean, girls love a guy who takes care of himself, and by all means don't wear a cheap cologne. Get someone who's cool to fix you up with one or try the Diabolo by Antonio Banderas, girls go crazy over that, it's a new thing... and show up, and just breathe... ok? Good luck. BTW, before I forget, smile a lot. It adds to your misterious whole self. But not in a dorky kind of way. Accept who you are, and be confident... And be optimistic. Ok?

I'm a girl n I'm shy til u get to know me. I'll sit in class quiet n not talk to anyone n wen ppl talk to me I get nervous...... But if ik u n were friends I'm a lot more outgoing .... I just get nervous around newer people n I get scared..... Guys always calls me cute n adorable cuz I'm shy, short, got a nice body, im sweetheart til u piss me off, stuff like that......

Tell your...FRIEND that he needs to find someone like himself. Your FRIEND (yeah sure) needs to look at himself and evaluate who he should be going out with. If he is dorky, then he should date someone he would be happy with. If you...sorry...your FRIEND (whatever)is a 4 then he shouldn't be trying to go out with a 9. Would you...sorry again, your FRIEND be happy with a woman that knows that she is twice as hot as you are. Will she love him or use him? Find someone he will be happy with. Trust me, a good conversation is better than good sex. But of course it had better be one HELL of a good subject to talk about!!!

Stay cool, don't try too hard. But try too make it to social gatherings (partys). I am the shy type as well, but I just happen to get lucky every once in a while. You might just need to wait.

LOL!!! i knew it was for you!!! ; ) But seriously i know guys are intimated by woman and are scared of them but you should just go up to them. I am 20 and not to many guys will approach me....for stupid reasons and if they would have I would totally talk to them. Sometimes it could be friends and sometimes it could be more as friends. I say just walk up and say hey, are you here alone?!?!?!

i'd say jus be urself don't change to get a girl ti like u if she doesn't like u for u then forget her who's to say she finds out how u were she's gonna think ur a faker
its okay to clean up ur look but don't totally change it, and my bf for almost a yr now is a lil geeky he still watched JAPAN CArtoons on Saturday NIght and ya kno what i love him so much that i watch them with him i love him to death & i'm glad he's himself around me he's not ur usual geek tho
