Yes i have, i am not sure why kind of wood was in your pocket but mine was cedar and it was put there so as to not attract moths and other insect the like to feed on clothing and have babies in there!

Nope but once at a restaurant I filled my friedn's coat pocket with french fries and he never found them there until 6 months later. Mmmmm, did they smell good.

yep. Happens with jeans as well. I used to find wooden splinters in the legs of my Levis. I think it comes from the shipping crates or something.
