I'm in the same situation. Without Bull Horn Bob. Work on your self-reliance, and social skills, by making some new friends who aren't dush bags.
Consider it an opportunity, not a problem.

Roll solo. You don't have to feel left behind because your friends' life is taking a different path. Be happy for him and enjoy being your own friend. Better yet, find some new friends. Out of the whole school, there's someone there who's like you or would like to hang w/ you. Ask his girlfriend if she's got a friend and see where that gets you...Good Luck.

Find something else to occupy your time. Don't worry when the love struck wears off I'm sure he will be back around again. Stick by him and when he needs a friend be there for him. That's what friends are for. Right now just play it low key. good luck!
