My nephews all have march birthdays, so my sister throws them all a "joint family party" I'm starting to gift shop. They are turning 11, & 6. I got the 11 year old a shirt, 9 year old a computer game and 6 year old pj pnats and a lego since children hate clothes... is it bad to give him 2 gifts if his bro's only get 1? should i buy the other 2 another small gift?

Just wrap them up in the same package and they become one thing.

Good question. Some kids will throw a fit - my brothers were ungrateful buggars to the point where my grandparents got us all THE EXACT SAME THING for christmas no matter whether we wanted it or not.

But we all know that's wrong. I suggest wrapping the two items together, perhaps even with a joke that the pants were to pad the legos so he couldn't figure out what the gift was... I think as long as one gift isn't significantly more valuable/important than the others, all will feel loved and appreciated.

You are a good uncle for caring!

If the money spent adds up to be about the same for each it is fine. If there's an extreme difference; I'd get something else to fill in. At Christmas time, I always try to spend the same on my children's gifts. It may vary within $5 or less. The next year it may work out that there's a few dollars more for someone else. It's not done on purpose; just works out that way. It's really not enough to notice.

well... kids can sometimes be immature about gifts, but assuming you've given them gifts in the past you know how they react. If you find something else the other two would like that won't blow your budget than sure get them 2 also

Kids never remember who got them what anyways, I would say throw a box of Smarties or something on top of the gifts and that is what they will remember.....treats

No because the nine year old scored the best.
