Does hairspray dry your scalp and cause dandrif?

hairspray does dry your scalp if its not washed out well. usually it doesnt cause dandruff though. hairspray shouldnt really be sprayed directly on the roots of your hair so avoid that to avoid a dry scalp

It depends what kind of hairspray your using.

hair spray can cause flakes and make your scalp itchy. "dandruff" flakes are caused by a fungus.
