You don't say where you are "local" to. Fresh powder in Heavenly, California! Over 4' a couple days ago. I hear there's lots of powder in the back bowls of Vail today, too. Lots of groomed snow at my "local" Holiday Valley, NY, and Seven Springs, PA has plenty, too. Big Sky, Montana and Snow Shoe, West Virginia are both sure bets. Need more?? One of these surely must be a brief plane ride or less from you, if you're in the lower 48 US.
