if your dog is not absorbing iron properly, he will have green poop. it's nothing to worry about if it only happens once, but if it continues to stay green for more than a day or if he starts having diahrrea, take him to the vet as soon as you can.

Have you changed the dogs food? Did it eat something different. If there is alot of "greenish" veggies in the dog food that could have something to do with it. I guess I would let it go for a few days before I would call the vet. I know changing the dog food can cause that.

Changing his food to puppy food could be the problem. Puppy food is designed to be easier on the digestive system of dogs-much like human baby food. Switch him back to grown up dog food and the problem should go away.

It's not the kind of movement you want the dog to have. Sounds like he's eating something that doesn't agree with him. Have you changed his food recently? If you have, his movements should go back to normal.

If this keeps happening, please do take your pet to the vet. Don't wait too long ok? 2 days at most.
