I have thick hair and i straighten it most of the time is there a better way to wear it?

My hair is pretty thick too; but thankfully its naturally straight so its glossy.
Layers add dimension to any style & look cute & fun. They also help your hair lay down better & avoid a poofy look.
Try using a texturizing spray [Pantene has some] to create beachy waves.
Also wearing your hair curled & half pulled back is very pretty.

a single braid looks really nice. straightening your hair can look good still too. maybe do something a little different like tie it half up. loose waves with a curler that has a 1 1/2 to 2 1/4 inch barrel looks great too with some hairspray to hold it

I would make it wavy. Try taking a blow dryer and Herbal Essences Curl Scrunching Gel put a little bit of the gel on then curl your hair with a brush and blow dry it, it looks really good. To keep it wavy use Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Curls & Waves Conditioner. Good Luck!

that is alright to have some hair, yet when have plenty I advise going to the physician and checking your hormone stages. do not worry, that is no longer something scary, merely perhaps something you opt for to envision out. in case you shave, possibilities are extreme the hair will come back longer and thicker.

try loose curls......I usually do a roller wrap that lasts about 3-5 days. It's cool becuase I don't have to worry about combing it.
