Do yourself a huge favor and pass on the alcohol. If someone underage gets into an accident, you(or worse, your unsuspecting parents) could be held accountable. I can guarantee you will have more fun not having to worry about getting caught!

The chances of you getting caught are getting greater by the minute. I'm sure it's going around that you'll have a party with maybe some alcohol at your house, so you may get more than 8 people. Then the ones that do come and drink, will brag about the drinking, and if any trouble would start at the party or afterwards...all fingers will be pointed at you. Yes, they will smell of the alcohol, especially after they're buzzing they have a tendency to spill...on themselves and probably all over the house. So the house will also probably reek of alcohol. In my opinion, don't have it. It's nothing but trouble......consider yourself forewarned of the fact.

There is no such thing as a "small" adolescent party with no parents, and alcohol. Word gets out, friends bring friends... Can't be done. Next, it is illegal and unfortunately we live in a very litigious society. You and your parents can be sued if someone leaves your house drunk. Likelihood of getting caught? I'd say pretty good. No matter how hard you cover your tracks, you always miss something. And your friends (who will get drunk if alcohol is there) will find more and more things "amusing" as they consume more alcohol. "amusing" things that will seem innocent and funny to a drunk teen, but not so innocent and funny to parents, or to the person throwing the party. Your friends don't necessarily want you to get in trouble, but hey, its not thier house, and judgement goes out the window when teens (or an adult) get drunk. Simple answer... Don't have a party, if you do have a party, don't have alcohol. Tell those attending that there will be no alcohol, and be adult enough to make anyone who does bring alcohol leave.

Do NOT invite that many people. Just have maybe 5-10 people over, preferably close friends. I've done this multiple times, and it always works out great, not to mention how much fun it is. If it's all people you know well, they'll respect your house and not to stupid stuff to get you in trouble. Also, less people will make less noise and draw less attention, so you're much less likely to get in trouble with the police. If it does get out of hand, just try to talk to everyone and tell them to calm down. Don't lose your cool though, or they might just freak out even more.

Of course you'll get caught. Parents find out about everything.

You will invite eight people, but 60 will show up. They will bring more alcohol. Four of them will have sex in your parents' bed, several will try on your mother's jewelry and wear it home.

Be sure to put lots of ashtrays around, even though they'll probably just grind 'em out on the carpet.

When you see one guy you don't know raise up a dining room chair to throw through a plate glass window, you probably should go ahead and call the police yourself. It just gets worse from that point.

You and your friends do not clean house the same way your mother does. She will notice that you used Pledge to clean the blood off the kitchen floor (it's smeary and slippery) and that you used her kitchen mop to get the vomit off the ceiling fan in the living room.

May God help you if someone brings a video camera.

Have the party!!! You're 17 and this is what very teenager does. If there are 8 people you should be fine as long as your neighbors aren't nosy or close with your parents. And if your friends are getting a ride home, kudos, you took care of them. Just don't be stupid and everything will be fine.

Personally, I would say no. If you serve alcohol to minors, they get stupid and do stupid things. Most likely you would get caught, because someone is bound to get stupid. The consequences outweigh the rewards. So, you throw a party and maybe your friends have some fun at your expense, then you pay for it with your freedom for how long your parents see fit. What's the reward in that?

OK this is what you have to do after the party make sure you clean the house so good that it is spotless! that is a major thing make sure you do! if you are scared your friends will smell like alcohol just give them dome gum that should not be a big problem! you can not drink that much so you can make sure that nothing is getting broken. if you follow these steps then you probably will not get caught o and make sure you get rid of the trash and hide the extra or just give it away i should know i am an expert on giving parties when parents are out! hope you have fun and don't get caught!

i dont think you should have it, espicially with alcohol. if you serve alcohol and your friends are getting a ride home the might be in an accident or get caught by the police, and then your parents will know.

Probably won't get caught, but the two friends that are getting a ride is probably going to be a problem. They will smell of Alcohol if you do have it. My suggestion is use massive amounts of body spray on them. :)
