And I'm not a teenager anymore, early 20's, so I know it's not a puberty thing.

Are you eating greasy food or drinking caffiene. Both of these will make your face more oily. Try eating a cleaner meal in the evening, like a dish loaded with vegetables and fruit. Your skin is simple excreting excess oil from your body, which is likely due to your evening menu.
You have to attack acne where it starts, with your diet. For me, diet was the cause and solution. Topical medications fight the symptoms. Start by eliminating trans fats and eating more fruits and vegetables. Once you start cleaning up the inside of your body, by eating properly, the outside of your body (your skin) will be get cleaned up too. I started a website to document my problem and solution.

You might find it helpful to read my story. Just remember to eat an all natural/organic diet with lots of fruits and vegetables. Stay away from processed foods. Use mild, all natural cleansers and don't pick at your face. Get lots of sleep and enough water for your body weight. Remember, clean body = clean skin. While you're waiting for your skin to clear, remind yourself that acne is a challenge that you will overcome soon. Once you're rid of it, tell all your friends how you did it. That's what I'm doing. God Bless.

It's called beauty sleep! Your skin is the largest elimination organ in your body and all internal waste comes out through the skin. Your skin heals when you sleep, so it's good to wake up with an oily, icky face because that means that lots of internal waste in coming out. Sounds gross, but it's a good thing! If you're looking for great natural skin care products, check out L'Bri Pure n' Natural, they're absolutely amazing products. Check it out at suenelson.lbri.com.

don't moisturize your face before you go to sleep. also, try changing your pillowcase. when your face touches it at night and the oil gets on it, then all the nights after that the oils from the pillowcase keep going onto your case and the dirt clogs up your pores. you can try(depending on the weather) changing the room temperature too since usually warmer climates cause oilier skin

That sometimes happen to me two. i always wash my face before going to sleep and when i wake up i feel it oily. I think it's bacause of my baby soap. It affects my skin and it produces more sebum to stop being dried.

you may want to tie your hair back with a scarf over it. maybe your hair has oil and it is going from your hair to your pillow to your face.
