Try eating higher calorie foods -- not necessarily junk food, but good nutritious things like proteins, good carbs and whole grains. Also, try bigger portions, and have healthy snacks throughout the day.
At 5'6" and 130 pounds, you might be considered slim for your age, but don't despair. You still have a few more years of growing yet. You will get taller and fill out. Also, doing weight lifting and other sports will help build muscle. Good luck!

First off you need to be working out to put on weight. At your age your metabolism is going to keep you from putting on a lot of weight, however there are ways to counteract that to put on musscle weight.
First go to your gym with a buddy and Max out. Maxing out is trying each exercise usually starting with a bench press and seeing how much weight you can do one rep (thats one motion of lifting up and down on the bench press), you'll need your buddy (pref. a strong guy) to spot you. Also try maxing out on dum bells or if your not into free weights find some machines that center on your upper body, some people swear you need to do lower body but I find a nice long run like a military mile (1 mile in 81/2 min) can give you a great lower body work out.
Also start on Creatine and Protein. You'll want to talk to your doctor about Creatine before you start it. At your age I would NOT recommend products like N.O. Explode or anything that contains Nitric Oxide, epically at your weight this can give you some serious heart problems.
Also when you eat try 5 small meals a day instead of the usal sized 3 meals a day. This will also help you put on weight. Any if you want lean muscle stay away from food that contains high amounts of fat.

Personally I wouldn't worry about being skinny. You'll get bigger as you get older.
However, if it bothers you, you may want to beef up a bit. The best way to do this is to join a gym and do plenty of weight work (or buy a set of weights). Do plently of sit-ups and press-ups too. Get yourself a protein shake to help build the muscles and make sure you follow a regular program. It will take time, but if you persist, you'll end up with great muscle definition and a six pack to be proud of!

Don't worry about your weight you are 16 when my son was that age he was like a stick it looked as though I didn't feed him, when he got to over 18 he put it on although he is still slim at 28. We used to call him a bottomless pit cause of the amount he ate.

Argos sell a weight gain powder, you just add milk to it and it costs £20. It gives you an extra 1500 callories per day. You still need to eat your regular meals.

Firstly - Stop Worrying!
Secondly - so long as you eat a good healthy and balanced diet - Don't Worry!
Thirdly - make sure with your Doctor you don't have any health issues which may affect your weight.
There are reasons why you are the shape/weight you are - maybe you are just 'lucky'!
