I don't think this is normal, but we need more oil every 2 weeks and I know it isn't leaking out. Plus every once in a wile I smell something like burning wax coming through the heater.

It sounds like your car is leaking oil internally into the antifreeze. Check the level and colour of your anti-freeze. It's not normal for this to happen, and it will cause your engine to seize eventually if you don't do anything.

The smell of burning wax is strange, not sure what that would be. If you have air fresheners in your car, remove them.

I am sorry to hear that. Is your engine burning oil? You shouldnt be adding oil every 2 weeks.

See a mechanic for second opinion.

May be it is time to replace it. Used cars are very cheap in US of A.

Put this question in cars- your car is a piece 'o shiite- the engine is probably going kaput. There's nothing good about an oil-guzzling auto!

Sounds like you need deep pockets. You may need new valves, rings, or have a leak internally.
