well we have this ball tommarow and the guy i like has a band thing. i don't think its mandatory but i think hes still going to the band thing. meaning he wont be going to the ball. he has missed the last 2 dances. I REALLY want him to come. what do i do?

we both like eachother and ive been let down for the last 2 dances i dont know what to do i really want him to be their for me and theres no one else i like.

Just go on your own, or with you friends, show him you can have a great time without him.

if he knew about this for a while and the band thing just came up i would say he is avoiding the dances on purpose. Maybe he can't dance and doesn't want to tell you. Ask him if he can't go is it OK for you to find another guy to go with, JUST A FRIEND or take a girlfriend. My hubby doesn't know how to dance and would do anything to get out of something like that.

you can mention that youd love to see him at the ball. but theres not much you can really do, dances aren't alot of guys things for various reasons (ie they don't know how to dance, they don't like dancing).

skip the dance and go to his concert. then when the next dance come's ask him to go with you before he has a show

you can't make a partner do what they don't want to do. maybe it's time to find a new partner that shares more of your interests rather than being let down. you could ask someone else to be your date???
